A distribution company is responsible for buying the rights of the film,selling as many prints as possible,and attracting the target and wider audience into seeing the film. MThe company 'ploygram' is likely to produce our film.Polygram are Dutch based and owned by Philips,they also collaborate with universal studios.Polygram produce many old films so the marketing tools used are not very recent,such as radio interviews,posters,and small social media.Social media did not have a large role in promoting the productions as ploygram does not produce many films in this modern day.Polygrams products are available on the Internet and DVD format as well as video.This distributor is likely to produce our film as they mainly produce thrillers which follow the same conventions as our film.Examples of Polygrams previous productions would be 'fargo' and 'the game'.Polygram is a mainstream production company.
Another production company is 'unique productions' that has a larger chance in supporting our film.This company is independent.To promote this company we will use social media such as Facebook adverts,Twitter to post links to the trailers,and make an Instagram account that posts on the recent films coming up.Our productions will be available in the format of DVD.Our independent company will not be linked with any other wider company's following the title 'independent'
