BLOG POST 5- RESEARCH - what makes a good title sequence according to Kyle cooper

In the interview we watched,Kyle Cooper makes many point on what makes a good title sequence.Kyle Cooper provides reasons for why he likes 'dead zone' and 'to kill a mo King bird'.Kyle believes that in 'deadzone' good music is used and simple typography which makes a good title sequence.the graphic design in this title sequence also inspired him making the film attract him.

Cooper also enjoys 'to kill a mockingbird' due to certain aspects of the film which seem to create a good title sequence.he states that it encapsulates the main characters which makes a good title sequence.Kyle cooper also has an interest in 'story based' main title sequences as they provide a specific back story,a clear metaphor or a poster like pun.

kyle cooper also identifies the importance of the 2 1/2 minutes of the title sequence including the reason that it gives information about the film,like a pro-log or an Introduction to the film.snippets of information are provided for the audience allowing them to have extra knowledge on the film along with an extra scene.Kyle cooper believes that titles are a very important feature to a film.this is because people realise they can tell the back story helping them to understand the film more.designers also can tell the story making the movie the best it could be as everyone can include an input,it is seen as a creation of context.
