For this rough cut we still did not have any sound layered. Also Marissa (our teacher) realized that we have ben broken the 180* rule so she suggested to flip those particular shots. The class liked our film, but what I felt like is that they do not really understand what is going on, the cuts were messy and audience could not enjoy it as much as they would when they actually understand it. However everyone liked our mise-en-scene choises, with the minimal black but stylized costumes and the locations too. We have to work on the suonds really hard, and will have to sit down with Marissa next week to discuss what to change to make our movie more understandable to the audience.Friday, 15 January 2016
