In our title sequence project we have chosen the genre 'thriller'.
We made this decision as thrillers follow interesting conventions that we can explore and learn more about.

 Thrillers are also enjoyable to produce and can follow various story lines and still work well.

A Title sequence of the same genre that inspired our group decision was 'seven'. This was because even though it was a discrete title opening and didn't show much information to what would happen, the soundtrack and the images shown created an atmosphere which highlighted the genre. Another title sequence of the same genre that inspired us was 'Fargo'. This was a narrative opening,and even though it was set in the same scene with no dialogue and only one character shown, the soundscape and character introduced the genre well.
